La Famille
Today we looked at La Famille with Roller then we played Happy Families in french.
La famille - the family
Le père - the father
La mère- the mother
Le grand-père - the grandfather
La grand-mère - the grandmothert
La soeur - the sister
Le frère - the brother
Le cousin - the cousin (boy)
La cousine - the cousin (girl)
La tante - the aunt

Tu es français(e)?
Today we practised speaking with our puppets. we asked "'Tu es français?' or 'Tu es française?' for a girl and replied 'Non, je suis écossais' or 'Non, je suis écossaise' for a girl.
We also learned different ways to say hello and goodbye at different times of day.
Bon matin - Good morning
Bonjour - Good day
Bonsoir - Good evening
Bonne nuit - Good nightl.
Au revoir - Goodbye
A bientôt - See you later
A demain - See you tomorrow
